How we work with you
Welcome to Art DeKaur. These terms and conditions explain how we work with you when you shop with us. By browsing and purchasing from our website, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't make a purchase.
Your legal rights as a customer are not affected by these terms.
When we say "you" we mean you (the customer). When we say "we", "us" or "our" we mean Art DeKaur.
Most of our website is open to browse without creating an account. Some areas may require you to register.
We update these terms from time to time. When we do, the latest version is what applies. If you keep shopping with us after we make changes, you're accepting the new terms.
We take great care to show you accurate descriptions, photos and details of what we sell. However, colours and appearance can vary slightly depending on your screen, lighting in your space, and how items are made.
If you order something personalised or custom-made, we may need to adjust text placement, spacing or layout slightly to make sure the design looks perfect when it's printed.
When we mention frame sizes, we're talking about the outside dimensions of the frame, not the size of the actual printed image inside.
All our prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT.
Delivery costs and any extras will be shown before you pay.
Prices can change at any time.
You can't combine discount codes unless we specifically say you can.
How long your item takes to make depends on what you're ordering.
Each product page tells you how long production and delivery will take.
Custom, personalised or made-to-order items usually take up to 14 days to make before we send them out.
When you place an order, you're confirming you've read and accept the production time shown on that product page.
We use Royal Mail and other courier services to get your order to you.
The delivery dates we show are our best estimates but aren't guaranteed. Sometimes things take longer due to courier delays that are out of our hands.
Once your parcel is with the courier, they handle it from that point. We can track it and help you if there's a problem.
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, let us know straight away so we can investigate with the courier.
Before we can send a replacement or refund, the courier investigation needs to be finished.
We consider a parcel lost if 10 working days have passed since it was supposed to arrive.
You're responsible for making sure the address you give us at checkout is correct.
We can't help if your order goes to a wrong or incomplete address that you entered.
Once we've sent your order out, we can't change where it's going.
If your parcel comes back to us because of a wrong address, failed delivery, or you not collecting it, we may charge you to send it again.
A lot of what we make is personalised or custom-made just for you.
Once we've started making your personalised item, you can't cancel the order.
Custom and personalised artwork can't be returned or refunded unless it's actually faulty, damaged, or we made it wrong.
Our Returns Policy has all the details on how returns work.
You can return items within 14 days of receiving them if they're unused, in perfect condition, and could be sold again.
You pay to send returns back to us (unless the item is faulty).
Once we've checked your returned item, we process your refund.
If your item turns up damaged or not working properly, contact us within 48 hours.
Tell us what's wrong and send us photos of the item and the packaging.
Once we've looked at it, we'll sort you out with a replacement or refund.
We're not responsible for delays or problems caused by things beyond our control, like:
We try to keep the website running smoothly all the time, but sometimes we need to take it down for updates or maintenance.
Everything on our website — the images, artwork, designs, text, graphics and branding — belongs to Art DeKaur.
You can't copy, reproduce, share or use any of it without our permission.
Using our content without permission could break copyright and trademark laws.
